Strathcona Science Park
Edmonton’s architectural gems are often overlooked, and at a greater risk of demolition as a result. I organized an architectural tour of the abandoned Strathcona Science Park pavilions, along with Amanda Tse and Jeff Klassen, to help bring attention to this fascinating place in the city. I designed a brochure for the walk, collaging it from newspaper articles and images found in the City of Edmonton Archives. The excursion was a M.A.D.E. in Edmonton event. Despite minimal promotion, the walk was a big success with over 50 attendees.
